Architecture is the
primary inspiration.

Not because buildings are literally copied but because architecture teaches how form, space and light work together. Windows play a central role in this collection. A window lets in light, creates openness and at the same time determines what remains visible. That idea returns in every Marzo bag.

During the design process, windows, facades and architectural forms are translated into leather. Cutouts, panels, volumes and openings cause light and shadow to move differently across the surface. As a result, each bag changes subtly when viewed from a different angle.

Some designs take their inspiration from the structure of a facade. Others depart from reflections in glass, or from the contrast between closed and open forms. The result are objects that feel strong, balanced and architectural  without losing their practical function.

Architectural References · What shaped the collection

Tadao Ando
Light plays the leading role. Through openings, walls and shadows a different atmosphere is created each time. Simplicity can be powerful.
Le Corbusier
A window is much more than an opening in a wall. It determines how light enters and how a space is experienced. Cutouts, openings and panels in the collection refer directly to this.
Zaha Hadid
Buildings that appear to be in constant motion. From every angle a different form, a different perspective. The same principle returns in the floating soufflet and layered panels of the collection.
Castanhal, pará
A house is more than a structure. It is a place of shelter, memory and belonging. In Castanhal, open spaces, tropical light and the constant connection between indoors and outdoors shape the way a home is experienced.

The Collection

 Materials

Mosa Nero

Deep black. Architectural and precise. Sharpens lines, strengthens volumes. The structural foundation of the collection.

Mosa Bordo

Warm bordeaux that changes with the light. Dark in shadow, rich in sun. The human counterweight to the architectural black.

Mosa Blu Reale

Royal blue, used sparingly appearing through cutouts like light through glass. A reference to reflections and the unexpected.

Designed and handmade
in Antwerp. In small quantities.

Each design begins with material. Not a sketch — first the leather is examined: how it feels, how it responds to light, how it will behave over years. Every bag takes an average of twenty-three hours of handwork, spread across multiple days. Glue must cure. Edge paint must dry between layers. The leather needs time to settle.
